High spots this week were the David Bowie & Beatles selections. I was sat beside a couple, he was 86 years old, and he was actually singing along to these pieces.

I can still hardly believe a cornet and piccolo trumpet could be played so quickly and accurately. Which reminds me, your rendition of Grandfather’s Clock was absolutely spellbinding. Did you notice how long and loud the applause you got after that one?”
